Our story

Action Packaging began in 1980 when Marie Gebbie founded the company as Action Bag Company. From the start, the focus was simple: provide dependable products, be easy to work with, and make sure customers always had access to the packaging they needed. As demand grew, the company expanded its product offering and supplier relationships, gradually evolving into a trusted packaging partner serving a wide variety of industries.

In 1982, Marie’s daughter Nancy Cwynar joined the business and helped guide the next stage of growth. Under Nancy’s leadership, the company broadened its capabilities and strengthened relationships with customers across the country. This second generation helped transform the business into a larger, more comprehensive packaging partner while maintaining the family-driven values that built the company.

Today, Action Packaging is led by CEO Haley Cwynar, representing the third generation of family leadership. The company continues to grow while remaining committed to the same core principles: reliability, strong relationships, and responsive customer service. While the organization has evolved significantly over the decades, the mission remains the same: help businesses source packaging with confidence and support their operations with dependable supply.
